Our next market is on Sunday 12 September (8am til 2.00pm). The Community Association and Chillingham Voices Community choir will be manning the foodstall and all funds raised will go towards supporting the East Timor Familia Hope Orphanage. Sue Axford, well known local artist is donating a lovely slumped glass creation to be raffled on the day and donations towards our fundraiser can be made at the foodstall.
Chillingham Voices choirmaster Harlie Axford and his group "Chilli Cool Jazz" are the performers at the market.
There will be lots of local handmade items and produce and the Chillingham Community Association stall will be once again be selling our famous homemade Chillingham jams, chutneys, sauces and relishes.
You can also find out more about renewable energy and water saving tips by talking to the people at our solar workshop stall. Tours of the centre's newly installed energy saving devices etc will be taking place on the day.
Chillingham is now a plastic bag free market so bring along your own bag or you can borrow one from the Community Association stall.
The Chillingham Village
Markets are held at the Chillingham Community Centre on the second
Sunday of the month (8.00am until 2.00pm). Come along and enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere of this country market. You'll be most welcome.
